Casting All Your Care

You know how sometimes life throws you a curve ball.  You have everything planned out and all of

a sudden something shows up and you find that you have to refocus.    Well, the last time I

shared with you about the beautiful Christmas Holiday.  I was having a wonderful time.  I got

done buying all the gifts.  Christmas Eve day I so enjoyed my children visiting

with me.

I put out a spread of cheeses, pepperoni, tomatoes and moteralla and other munchies.  Then

we ordered Chinese food which was also enjoyable.  Before opening gifts we read GOD's

WORD together, and prayed.  Then we opened our gifts. I really got such nice gifts.

When December 26th came around I started not feeling well.  I kind of dismissed that.  I thought

my Sinus were acting up.  When I woke up Monday the 28th I was really not feeling good.

My throat was burning, my body was aching,  I had the Chills.  Breathing was starting to feel

heavy.

By the time Wednesday came I called my doctor, again thinking it was a Sinus condition.  He

gave me an appointment that day in the afternoon.  He examined me and said it was not

my sinuses.  He tested me for Covid-19.  I didn't think that I had that.  All these months I was

really careful.  Practiced distancing, and wearing a mask.

After twenty-four hours my doctor calls to let me know I had Covid-19.  The first two weeks I

suffered.  I was put in the hospital twice, but I was sent home after the testings and medicine

was given to ease the excruciating pain in my stomach.  It was a challenge everyday.

I prayed everyday for the LORD's healing power to touch me and make me all better.  I really

didn't know which way it would go but I kept my eyes on JESUS and I knew, no matter what,

HE would take care of me.  Many people were praying with me and for me.

Today it's fifteen days and I'm able to sit in front of the computer, and be well enough to talk with

you.  I have a ways to go but I know JESUS will take care of me.  JESUS cares for our every situation.  The wonderful thing is to remember, that no matter what life throws our way we can put

our trust in the SAVIOR of the World and HE will take care of us.

CASTING ALL YOUR CARE UPON JESUS, FOR HE CARES FOR YOU.
