I looked out the window this morning to welcome the beautiful white snow, which I love.
It fits in so nicely with Christmas and the New Year. When I was in my younger years, living
in the bronx, we had a major snow storm. The snow was so high that when we opened our door
we had to shovel our way out. We went sleigh riding in the street. There was no traffic. The snow
covered the cars. I always enjoyed the snow and still do in my older years. So lets build a
snowman, or have a snow ball fight, or go skiing or slay riding. Or, walk in it and take in the
beauty.
There is a store about five minutes away from where I live that always puts a sign up that says, “Merry
Xmas. When I pass that I feel sad. He's making extra money off this holiday, but there
would be no Christmas without Jesus Christ. HE IS THE REASON FOR THE SEASON!
Let's acknowledge HIM and greet one another no matter where we are, and say,
“MERRY CHRISTMAS!”
