We just had a very hot weekend. No more heavy clothes. No more boots, long sleve tops.
No more heavy jackets. No more sweaters. What I wanted to do is put on my bathing suit
and go for a swim, but the water wasn't warm enough, but soon it will be. Memorial Day, May
30tth is approaching, that's next weekend!
I know I talk about how much I love the four seasons. Yes, I do. I love to swim in the lakes,
and pools. I love sitting on my patio, with a nice cold glass of water, and just relax. I love
to drive around and look at the mountains and resiovors. Love going to the zoo and look
at the beautiful animals. So with Summer on it's way I'm looking forward to the enjoyment of
GOD's wonderful creations.
In sharing my anticipations …...... I'm also aware of the economy, high prices for gas, shelves
empty in stores, mother's having a difficult time finding formula for their babies. All the violence
right here in our country. Innocent people being killed. Thousands entering our country
illegally....some bringing drugs in. The war in Ukraine fighting for their freedom. We
watch in horror children's bodies lying in the streets. Other nations threatening to start another
war.
Here in our country there are those who are creating a world view that denies the very existence of GOD. We see this in promoting and acceptance of homosexuality and same-sex marriage, transgenderism and sexual identity, cohabitation and promiscuity, moral relativism and biblical illiteracy, and abortion and sanctity of life. These are the very things that GOD's word speaks against.
These are life styles that are harmful as they go against nature.
This is what I know ….. “GOD IS LOVE!” In the bible the Lord shows us the healthy
way to live. So the do's and don't is spoken by the creator himself. If you are in a situation
and your lifestyle isn't accepted in God 's word, turn to God and he will give you the strength
to turn away and live in God's truth! When you do you will live well!
So, in-spite of these trying times....as you trust in the Lord, you are still able to enjoy the simply
and yet really nice times in life, like going to the beach, swimming, boat riding, hanging out with
family and friends, etc.
