Reflection of Mother's Day

Last weekend was mother's day.  It was a wonderful day  My children came to visit me.

We ordered out.  We talked about different things.  Even though we talk, just about everyday on the phone, there were some things to catch up on.  They bought me beautiful roses, which are my favorite. Looking at them, now as young adults, I remember when they were first born.  How cute and tiny.  Now how cute and grown up!

From the first, I loved being pregnant, giving birth and being a mom, and to the 2nd, 3rd and 4th time. I always asked the Lord for guidance and wisdom in bringing them up.  I  knew, one day, they would be on their own.  But, I also knew I would always be their mom.  That was and is my joy.

So, everyday, when I wake up I always think of them. How proud of them I am, and with the same smile in my heart I say, “Lord thank you that I'm a mom to the greatest children!”  Yes, that's what moms” say and know.

So, to all the moms out there, enjoy yourselves being a mom!  It's a wonderful call.

I just want to recognize my two children, James and Esther.  Even though they are in heaven, their still included in my celebration.  I know one day I will be with all my children in heaven forever!

FOR GOD SO LOVED THE WORLD,

THAT HE GAVE HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON,

                            THAT WHOSOEVER BELIEVETH IN HIM,

SHALL NOT PERISH, BUT HAVE EVERLASTING LIFE!!
